Understanding On-Site Climate Impact
and using climatic conditions to advantage

OM Solar system installation takes place only after a clear understanding of local climatic conditions and weather patterns has been established. To that end, comprehensive climatic and site-related data are collected and analyzed in depth.

1 Collecting the Climatic Data
Map of Japan
Japan — 842 locations

Through databanks
We have compiled climatic data for all over Japan. In other cases, regional or national meteorological databanks are consulted for the relevant data.

Through on-site collection by the homeowner
When adequate data is not available from databanks, or when specific microclimatic data is required for design work, on-site data collection can be carried out directly by the homeowner.

Basic Equipment Functions
This equipment records barometric pressure, temperature, humidity levels, wind velocity and direction, precipitation, solar radiation, and the ultraviolet index.

Data-collecting equipment
Basic equipment records temperatures, humidity levels, solar radiation, precipitation, and wind direction and velocity. Data-collecting equipment is available, either for rent or for purchase, from the OM Environmental Planning.

Through on-site collection by the OM Environmental Planning
When a large-scale design is involved, or in the case of a particularly complex microclimate, very thorough meteorological observation and data collection will be necessary. In such cases, those tasks can be taken on by us.

2 Taking Into Account Site-Specific Factors and Conditions

For OM Solar system installation, local environmental conditions and site-specific factors are taken into account together with the precise climatic data described above. In addition to the factors listed below, building materials used in the construction of the home are also considered.
Site-specific environmental factors: Trees, soil quality, type of ground cover, groundwater levels, etc.
Local topographical features: Hilly or flat terrain, proximity of forest and of river, lake, or sea, etc.

3 Analyzing the Data

All the collected data, including building data and data on local environmental conditions, is analyzed by the OM Environmental Planning for OM Solar system installation.
