The Facts Speak for Themselves on Japan's northernmost island of Hokkaido

Map of JapanThe building featured in these photographs was built by the OM Solar Association for the 1997 PLEA (Passive and Low Energy Architecture) International Conference in Kushiro, on the island of Hokkaido. For the duration of the conference, the building was used as its Information Center, but at the same time it served as a "live experiment" for regular monitoring of the effectiveness of the OM Solar system in cold climates.
